- 1) What is Advanced Call Center ?

- Advanced Call Center is a full-featured yet easy-to-use
- answering machine software for your voice modem. All
- necessary functions are supported: Caller ID lets you
- see and hear whoÆs calling via screen pop-ups,
- distinctive rings and callerÆs name announcement with
- speech synthesis. ôBlackö and ôwhiteö list functions
- filter calls based on caller database, call origin and
- other parameters. You can map personalized greetings to
- callers, organize information in phone books and record
- conversations.

- Advanced features include pager notification, sending
- call details and voice messages over e-mail, and
- starting an external fax program when an incoming fax
- call is recognized.

- Tightly integrating voice modem with the sound card,
- Advanced Call Center offers a feature that leading
- competitors do not ù rea l time voice transfer from
- telephone line to PC sound system, so you donÆt need
- an extra speaker attached to the modem!

- Runs as a tray application when idle, uses minimum
- system resources, and automatically frees the modem for
- an Internet connection.

- The program is a software application that uses a voice
- capable modem to handle incoming telephone calls.

- you have to subscribe to a Caller ID service from your

- 3) Compatible modems

- Advanced Call Center has been tested and is compliant
- with a wide range of modern voice modems, including
- external and internal (ISA or PCI) modems and Windows
- modems.

- 4) Install

- To install, run the file you just downloaded and follow
- the instructions.

- After files are installed and you run the program for
- the first time, you will be prompted for COM port
- number, modem name and type of Caller ID you will use.

- 5) Un-install
-

- To uninstall, exit the program and run 'Uninstall' from
- the Windows Start menu. After than you may need to
- manually remove your settings and wave files you
- recorded; they reside in the folder where Advanced Call
- Center was installed.

- Further information and documentation is in the online
- documentaion CHM file, an MS Compressed HTML file. If
- you cannot start this file, you probably don't have MS
- Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher. In that case you
- should either install Internet Explorer or download
- the special help file version for non-IE browsers (it
- will use Java applet to display itself).
